Agreed in writing. Before the work begins.
We do not publish price lists, because serious cross-border matters do not come in standard sizes. What we do publish is how the fee is built — the models we use and the factors that move them. The number itself arrives in a written proposal, before you commit to anything.
Fee models
Written assessment
The entry point for most engagements: a paid, written assessment of your position and options. You receive a document you can act on — with us or without us.
Fixed fee
A defined scope at a defined fee, agreed before work begins. Used for structures, opinions, document packages and most project work.
Hourly
For matters whose scope cannot honestly be fixed in advance — typically disputes and open-ended negotiations. Estimates and caps are agreed up front and revisited as the matter develops.
Monthly retainer
For ongoing counsel work: a defined monthly scope with partner oversight and response SLAs. See the Corporate Counsel practice.
Success element
Where the forum and the applicable rules permit it, part of the fee can be tied to outcome — discussed case by case, in writing.
Free consultations
We do not offer free consultations. The first paid step — a written assessment — exists so that advice is considered, documented and worth relying on.
What moves the fee

Describe the situation; you will receive a scope and fee structure in writing.
